Escrima is the fighting art of the Philippines Islands covering weapons (single stick, double sticks, stick & dagger, knives, etc.) and empty hand. Our students focus first on close range modified Balintawak Escrima, a single stick fighting system, then progressing into other weapons and ranges.  You will learn Speed, Power and Control with a block-counter strategy based on the Velez grouping system. Advanced students will learn, but not limited to: Valencia LAMECO Escrima, Knives, Double Sticks, Long and Medium Range, Counter Attacks, Disarms, Butting, Sweeping, Kicking, Set-ups, Chaining, Punching and Trapping.
